Ankara, Jan. 10 -- Indonesian Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin stated that Indonesia and Turkiye agreed to enhance defense cooperation in various fields during the Indonesia-Turkiye 2+2 Dialogue in Ankara on Friday (Jan 9).
Detailing the commitments in a joint press statement alongside the Foreign Ministers and Defense Ministers of both countries, Sjamsoeddin identified the strengthening of defense human resources as the first priority.
"We will enhance the human resource investment program for both countries as the foundation for long-term defense cooperation under the Defense Cooperation Agreement between Indonesia and Turkiye," he said.
