Jakarta, April 11 -- The governments of Indonesia and Turkey have agreed to enhance cooperation in the film industry by producing a film that explores the historical ties between Indonesia and the Ottoman Empire.
According to the Indonesian Ministry of Culture's press release, received here on Friday, the collaboration was formalized through an agreement signed by the Ministry of Culture and the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
The film exploring the historical ties between Indonesia and the Ottoman Empire aims to help enhance historical literacy among young people while fostering stronger bilateral relations between the two countries.
