Jakarta, Aug. 28 -- Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Fleet Command Rear Admiral Eko Wahjono paid a courtesy call to Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Navy Admiral Jirapol Wongwit in Sattahip, Thailand, to strengthen bilateral ties.

According to a press release from the Indonesian Navy (TNI AL) in Jakarta on Thursday, the meeting took place on Wednesday (August 27) as part of the navy's Kartika Jala Krida (KJK) goodwill voyage, centered on the training ship KRI Bima Suci.

"KRI Bima Suci is currently on the KJK 2025 goodwill voyage, which is a diplomatic mission with Sattahip City as the fourth stop," Wahjono stated in the release.
