Jakarta, April 23 -- Indonesia and Switzerland held a soft launch of the 2025-2028 Indonesia-Switzerland Development Cooperation Program to strengthen their five-decade-long strategic partnership.

Deputy Minister of National Development Planning, Febrian Alphyanto Ruddyard, said in a statement on Wednesday that the cooperation program will be officially launched in October 2025.

The soft launch on April 16, 2025, was attended by Ruddyard and the Swiss Ambassador to Indonesia, Timor-Leste, and ASEAN, Olivier Zehnder.

According to the minister, since the 1970s, Switzerland has been a meaningful development partner for Indonesia, as evident from various initiatives such as its support for the Manufacturing Polytechnic and NHI Bandung.
