Jakarta, June 16 -- Indonesia and Singapore have agreed on energy cooperation, including in clean energy exports and the development of a renewable energy-based industrial area in the Riau Islands.
The agreement was announced following a bilateral meeting between President Prabowo Subianto and Singaporean Prime Minister Lawrence Wong at the Parliament House, Singapore, on Monday.
"What we are doing today is a long series of communications and negotiations between the two countries in order to build mutually beneficial cooperation," Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Bahlil Lahadalia informed.
