Jakarta, Nov. 8 -- Indonesia and Russia have agreed to explore broader cooperation in the maritime, logistics, and education sectors following a meeting between Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto and Russian Maritime Council Chairman Nikolai Patrushev, who also serves as Advisor to the Russian President.
In a statement Saturday, Hartarto said the meeting focused on expanding strategic partnerships to strengthen Indonesia's maritime capabilities and infrastructure.
"The development of the maritime and logistics sector is a national priority to drive economic growth and enhance interregional connectivity," he said.
