Jakarta, April 14 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto and Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) that is expected to provide a foundation for strategic dialogues between their countries.
The agreement document was inked during a bilateral meeting at the Amiri Diwan Palace in Doha, Qatar, on Sunday (April 13), according to a statement received from the Indonesian Presidential Secretariat in Jakarta.
Indonesian Foreign Affairs Minister Sugiono and Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani signed the pact, officially called the MoU on Strategic Dialogues between the Governments of Indonesia and Qatar.
