Jakarta, Aug. 28 -- Indonesia's Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Ministry and the Open Government Partnership (OGP) held a meeting this week to advance open government principles focused on transparency, accountability, participation, inclusion, and innovation.

State Apparatus Utilization and Bureaucratic Reform Minister Rini Widyantini said in a statement that open government is a key part of ongoing bureaucratic reform, aimed at improving public service delivery and strengthening citizen trust.

"Open government is integral to our reform agenda and requires strong multistakeholder collaboration, including through OGP," Rini said Thursday after meeting with OGP CEO Aidan Eyakuze in Jakarta.
