Jakarta, Aug. 21 -- Minister for the Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers (P2MI) Abdul Kadir Karding discussed efforts to strengthen cooperation on the placement of Indonesian migrant workers in Japan, particularly in Miyagi Prefecture.
The discussion was held during his meeting with Miyagi Governor Yoshihiro Murai in Japan on Wednesday (August 20).
"Our visit today is part of an effort to strengthen relations between Indonesia and Japan, especially with Miyagi," Karding said in an official statement.
He emphasized that Indonesia is ready to send skilled workers to various sectors, particularly fisheries, agriculture, and healthcare. T
