Jakarta, May 31 -- Indonesian Communications and Digital Minister Meutya Viada Hafid and Malaysian Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil have agreed to strengthen strategic cooperation between Indonesia's ANTARA and Malaysia's BERNAMA news agencies.
Fadzil, in a post on his official social media account on Saturday, stated that the agreement was reached during their meeting in Tokyo, Japan.
"One of the main points agreed upon was efforts to strengthen strategic cooperation between BERNAMA (Malaysia) and ANTARA (Indonesia), including the exchange of news materials, cross-border coverage, as well as sharing resources and professional training," he remarked.
