Jakarta, Nov. 14 -- Indonesia will collaborate with Jordan in developing drone technology through a partnership between state-owned weapons manufacturer PT Pindad and Jordan's defense company Deep Element.

Following a meeting with the Chief of Staff of the Jordanian Armed Forces, Major General Pilot Yousef Ahmed Al-Hunaity, in Jakarta on Friday, Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin stated that Deep Element is an advanced defense industry that will work with Pindad on joint manufacturing.

He noted that the cooperation forms part of broader military agreements between the two nations to strengthen defense technology capabilities.
