Jakarta, April 29 -- The governments of Indonesia and India have pledged to collaborate and explore concrete partnerships to achieve 5G connectivity and develop artificial intelligence (AI) in Indonesia.
This commitment was formalized during a meeting between Minister of Communication and Digital Meutya Hafid and Indian Ambassador to Indonesia Sandeep Chakravorty.
"We hope this collaboration can be realized soon with concrete steps, either through a technical working group or the preparation of a joint statement," Hafid noted in a statement on Tuesday.
The meeting between the two countries on Monday (April 28) is expected to initiate a joint step towards an inclusive and sovereign digital future for both Indonesia and India.
