Jakarta, April 5 -- French President Emmanuel Macron stated that he has agreed with his Indonesian counterpart Prabowo Subianto to enhance bilateral relations through collaboration on major projects.
"We have decided to strengthen the relations between our countries through ambitious and future-orientated projects," Macron noted in his written statement on social media platform X on Friday.
Macron said the historical framework that the two countries prepared will "materialize during my state visit to Indonesia at the end of May of 2025."
The French president stated that Indonesia and France shared the same determination to strengthen cooperation in priority sectors, such as defense, economy, science, culture, and academic exchanges.
