Jakarta, July 5 -- The Ministry of Creative Economy is exploring strategic collaboration with France in the film industry, including in co-production, exchange of talents, and creative training.

"As part of our strategic efforts to encourage cross-border partnership and investment in the creative economy sector, we welcome the collaboration opportunities," Creative Economy Minister Teuku Riefky said in a statement received here on Saturday.

The collaboration was explored during a meeting between Minister Riefky and the French Ambassador to Indonesia, Fabien Penone, and delegates of Centre National du Cinema et de l'image animee (CNC) in Jakarta on Thursday.
