Jakarta, May 29 -- Indonesia and France are intensifying cooperation in the tourism sector, particularly in human resource development and investment in tourism infrastructure.
In a statement issued on Thursday, Indonesia's Ministry of Tourism said that the "Joint Vision 2050"-agreed upon during a bilateral meeting-includes plans to strengthen collaboration in tourism and culture.
Both governments have committed to increasing tourist exchanges as a way to enhance people-to-people ties between the two nations.
A Cultural Declaration, aimed at deepening cultural exchange and fostering closer relations between the citizens of both countries, will serve as a foundation for expanded cooperation in tourism, arts, and culture.
