Jakarta, May 23 -- Foreign Affairs Minister Sugiono and Ethiopian Ambassador to Indonesia, Fekadu Beyene Aleka, discussed intensifying cooperation between the two countries and the BRICS group of developing world economies.
During their meeting on Thursday, Sugiono outlined Indonesia's national priorities, including efforts to eradicate poverty by optimizing the use of existing resources.
"The economic potential of the two countries remains open for future development. Indonesia is ready to increase exports of superior products, especially in the agricultural and pharmaceutical sectors, which are greatly needed in Ethiopia," he said as quoted from a statement on Friday.
