Jakarta, March 25 -- Communication and Digital Affairs Minister Meutya Hafid and Secretary of the Nanning City Party, Guangxi Province, China, Nong Shengwen, discussed Indonesia's digital transformation and opening up opportunities for AI use in agricultural and smart city development.

"Cooperation in the digital infrastructure between Indonesia and China is the largest among cooperation with other countries. This has supported connectivity to remote areas of Indonesia through 4G and 5G technology," Hafid noted during the meeting here on Tuesday.

She expressed Indonesia's interest in expanding cooperation in AI with Nanning city, considering its success in emerging as an AI-based smart city center.
