Denpasar, May 20 -- Indonesia is set to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Cambodia to strengthen cooperation in combating human trafficking and cybercrime, a minister announced on Tuesday.

The agreement will also cover collaboration on tackling cybercrimes such as skimming (data theft) and scamming (online fraud), according to Indonesia's Minister of Immigration and Corrections Agus Andrianto.

He noted that cooperation between the two countries since early this year has resulted in the successful repatriation of around 500 Indonesian migrant workers who had been trapped in online gambling operations in Cambodia.
