Jakarta, July 10 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto attended a state luncheon hosted by Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva at the Itamaraty Palace, the headquarters of Brazil's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in Brasilia on Wednesday, July 9.

Prabowo's office released several photos showing him and Lula seated side by side at a roundtable.

"The state luncheon took place in a warm and cordial atmosphere, reflecting the ever-growing diplomatic ties between Indonesia and Brazil," the office noted in a statement on Thursday.

The friendly tone was evident in the photos, which show President Lula conversing with his Indonesian counterpart while resting his hand on the back of a chair.
