Jakarta, July 16 -- President Prabowo Subianto has informed that he and Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva have agreed to broaden the scope of bilateral ties by tapping into more cooperation opportunities.
Upon landing at the Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base in Jakarta on Wednesday after his five-nation diplomatic tour, he affirmed his commitment to strengthening economic and trade ties between Indonesia and Brazil by harnessing the two countries' natural resources.
"Both Brazil and Indonesia are large countries with vast areas of tropical forests-positioning us as the lungs of the world. Moreover, our countries are blessed with abundant natural resources," he told the media.
