Jakarta, July 10 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto and Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva have agreed to collaborate on developing missile technology and submarine systems.
During a bilateral meeting in Brasilia on Wednesday, the two leaders also committed to expanding cooperation in various sectors, including the economy, trade, agriculture, education, and the defense industry.
President Prabowo noted that the Indonesian armed forces already operate a substantial amount of Brazilian-made defense equipment. He said Indonesia is eager to continue this partnership through joint production and technology transfer.
