Jakarta, July 31 -- The Indonesian Ministry of Defense has established defense cooperation with the Belarusian military.

The collaboration was marked by a meeting between Indonesian Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin and Chief of the General Staff and First Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Belarus, Major General Pavel Nikolaevich Muraveyko, in Belarus on July 28.

According to an official press release on Wednesday, the meeting covered various plans for military cooperation, ranging from joint exercises to the development of primary weapon system technology.
