Jakarta, May 29 -- Indonesian Foreign Affairs Minister Sugiono said a concrete partnership between the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) is needed to ensure the stability and prosperity of the Indo-Pacific region amid the ever-evolving global geopolitical and economic landscape.
Sugiono delivered the remarks at the ASEAN-GCC ministerial meeting, which was held on the sidelines of the 46th ASEAN Summit series at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center on May 25, 2025.
