Jakarta, July 9 -- The Financial Services Authority (OJK) has said that United States President Donald Trump's decision to keep the 32-percent reciprocal tariff on Indonesia unchanged has had minimal impact on the domestic financial market.

Chairperson of the board of commissioners of the OJK, Mahendra Siregar, informed that the response of the market to the latest tariff news was better compared to the volatility that followed the US President's tariff announcement earlier this year.

"This time, (the impact of the policy is) relatively minimal, as the market is likely still assessing the situation, while anticipating the development of the issue until August 1 (2025)," he explained here on Tuesday.
