Jakarta, Aug. 27 -- The Indonesian Ministry of Immigration and Corrections distributed five thousand packages of staple goods and provided free health examinations to residents in Jatinegara Sub-district, East Jakarta, on Wednesday.
"This kind of social service will be organized by all ranks of the Immigration and Corrections Ministry across Indonesia," Immigration and Corrections Minister Agus Andrianto remarked during the activity in Cipinang, Jatinegara.
He noted that similar events are also taking place in other regions, including Karawang, West Java, and Tangerang, Banten.
