Jakarta, Jan. 22 -- President Prabowo Subianto has expressed optimism about Indonesia's economic growth prospects amid global uncertainty, following praise from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), which described Indonesia as one of the bright spots in the global economy.
The president conveyed his optimism during a speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, on Thursday local time.
He said the IMF's assessment reflects Indonesia's consistently solid economic performance despite mounting external pressures.
