Jakarta, April 17 -- Deputy Minister of Trade, Dyah Roro Esti Widya Putri, has said that completing the Indonesia-European Union Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IEU-CEPA) negotiations is a strategic solution amid global uncertainty.

She said that in response to ongoing global dynamics, President Prabowo has instructed his Cabinet to proceed with a strategy based on diplomacy, regional solidarity, and long-term diversification.

"Indonesia's market diversification is not merely a response to former U.S. President Donald Trump's policies, but also a continuation of Indonesia's long-term strategy to expand market access, increase trade resilience, and promote job creation," she said in a statement released on Thursday.
