Indonesia, July 6 -- The South Sumatra Cooperatives and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Office has facilitated around 300 MSMEs in the local province to obtain halal certification until July 2025.
"Some MSMEs are facilitated to obtain halal certification for free, and some are only given assistance," Head of the South Sumatra Cooperatives and MSMEs Office Amiruddin stated in Palembang city, South Sumatra Province, on Saturday.
He explained that MSMEs received free self-declared halal certification, which is intended for a product with one type of food that is easily recognized and whose halalness can be ascertained.
