Garut, West Java, Sept. 18 -- Medical teams are treating 115 residents who suffered from suspected food poisoning after consuming meals served at an akikah or childbirth gratitude gathering in Pakenjeng Sub-district, Garut District, West Java.
"All victims remain under close medical observation," said Pakenjeng Police Chief, Muslih Hidayat, here on Thursday.
He stated that based on on-field checks and reports, a total of 115 people had shown symptoms of food poisoning as of Wednesday (September 17) evening.
