Jakarta, Aug. 8 -- Public policy observer from Trisakti University, Trubus Rahadiansyah, stated that the planned Housing People's Business Credit (KUR) scheme provides certainty for low-income families (MBR) to own decent and affordable homes.
"I see this policy as offering more definite hope to low-income families. In my view, it is a good policy and deserves appreciation. The government is still formulating the policy, which will later be implemented," Trubus remarked when contacted in Jakarta on Friday.
He noted that low-income families have long struggled to access affordable and livable housing.
The housing KUR scheme offers government-backed assurance for MBR in the housing sector.
