Jakarta, June 12 -- The Ministry of Health has expressed optimism about the Free Health Checks (CKG) program covering 100 million people this year, given the current pace of the program and its scheduled rollout in schools in August.
At a press conference on Thursday, director general of primary and community health, Maria Endang Sumiwi, said that in the last month, 200 thousand people have participated in the program per day.
"We hope to reach 5-6 million (participants per month), so that in the remaining months (of 2025), there are still 6 or 7 months left, we can get an additional 30-40 million. That's half of our target," she added.
