Jakarta, July 10 -- Deputy Speaker of the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR), Lestari Moerdijat, has expressed the hope that the school orientation period will ignite students' passion to learn and build their character.
In a statement released here on Thursday, she noted that last year, cases of bullying were reported during school orientation, saying such incidents can harm students.
She said that this year, the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education has issued a circular on the implementation of Friendly School Orientation from early childhood education to secondary education levels.
