Jakarta, July 30 -- Secretary General of the Home Affairs Ministry Tomsi Tohir has asked high-inflation regions, particularly those whose annual inflation exceeded the national average of 1.87 percent in June 2025, to take prompt steps to check price spikes.

The ten provinces with the highest inflation rates are South Papua (3 percent), Bali (2.94 percent), West Sulawesi (2.57 percent), Southeast Sulawesi (2.52 percent), Yogyakarta (2.52 percent), West Nusa Tenggara (2.51 percent), Central Sulawesi (2.47 percent), South Sumatra (2.44 percent), Central Papua (2.33 percent), and Lampung (2.27 percent).
