Indonesia, March 1 -- The Highland Papua Provincial Government expected that the Highland Papua People's Council (MRP) and the Highland Papua Regional People's Representative Council (DPRP) will become strategic partners in the region's development in the future.

Acting Governor of Highland Papua, Velix V. Wanggai, stated here on Saturday that the two institutions serve as representatives for the Highland Papuan people.
