Jakarta, Jan. 29 -- The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology has forged cooperation with the Indonesian Food and Drug Authority (BPOM) to strengthen research and innovation aimed at improving the quality and safety of drugs and food.
The partnership was formalized through a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed by Higher Education Minister Brian Yuliarto and BPOM Head Taruna Ikrar in Jakarta on Wednesday (Jan. 28), according to a statement received on Thursday.
"Our growing independence in the drug and food industries has prompted us to work in innovative and creative ways," Yuliarto noted.
