Bekasi District, March 4 -- Prolonged torrential rainfall since Monday (March 3) has triggered severe flooding, submerging roads, homes, and industrial areas across seven sub-districts in Bekasi District, West Java Province.
"Floods have impacted seven sub-districts, with water levels ranging from 20 to 150 centimeters," said Head of the Emergency and Logistics Division of the Regional Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) of Bekasi Dodi Supriadi stated in Bekasi on Tuesday.
He identified the affected areas as Cibarusah, Serang Baru, Setu, North Cikarang, Cibitung, North Tambun, and Bojongmangu.
