Jakarta, Jan. 26 -- Home Affairs Minister Muhammad Tito Karnavian stated that health services have been fully restored in the three flood- and landslide-hit provinces of Sumatra: Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra.
In a meeting on Sumatra post-disaster rehabilitation and reconstruction in Jakarta on Monday, he highlighted that the achievement is a result of accelerated efforts carried out by the central government in collaboration with the local governments.
According to data from the Task Force for Sumatra Post-Disaster Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Acceleration, of the 87 affected regional public hospitals, nine had previously ceased operations, comprising eight in Aceh and one in North Sumatra.
