Jakarta, Jan. 24 -- As the Free Health Screening (CKG) program enters its second year in 2026, the Ministry of Health is shifting its focus toward the clinical management and follow-up of screening results.

Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin emphasized that the CKG program does not end with screening; it includes integrated prevention and treatment provided for free. This focus marks a shift from mere check-ups to active disease control and tangible improvements in public health.

"Our target for 2026 is not just to carry out health checks, but to ensure people are healthy. It is not only the screening that is free, but also the prevention and treatment," he said in a statement issued on Friday.
