Jakarta, Feb. 9 -- Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin has proposed temporarily restoring National Health Insurance (JKN) coverage for three months while beneficiary data is verified, following the deactivation of 11 million government-funded JKN memberships under the Contribution Assistance Recipient scheme (PBI).

"These three months will be used for comprehensive revalidation. This process can be carried out by Statistics Indonesia (BPS), regional governments, and the Ministry of Social Affairs to verify the poverty status of the recipients," Sadikin said during a meeting with the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) in Jakarta on Monday.
