Jakarta, Feb. 3 -- Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto is optimistic that Indonesia-United Kingdom economic relations will advance to a higher level through the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA).

According to the top minister, the current level of economic collaboration through the Economic Growth Partnership (EGP) scheme is a stepping stone before reaching a greater level of cooperation.

"We have signed the Economic Growth Partnership agreement and, for the next step, we will enhance the cooperation to a greater level," he stated on the sidelines of the 2026 Indonesia Economic Summit (IEC) here on Tuesday.
