Jakarta, Aug. 31 -- Indonesian Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto has dismissed rumors that Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati plans to resign from the Red and White Cabinet.

"No. Madam Minister joined the meeting," Hartarto told reporters after a cabinet meeting led by President Prabowo Subianto at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Sunday.

He added that Indrawati did not deliver a presentation, as the president directly presided over the two-hour session.

Hartarto's remarks were made in response to reports that the state treasurer had met with President Prabowo to tender her resignation.
