Jakarta, May 5 -- The Ministry of Religious Affairs announced that with temperatures in Madinah, Saudi Arabia, expected to reach 35 degrees Celsius, Hajj pilgrims are advised to pay extra attention to their health during the pilgrimage.

"For those who have already arrived in Madinah, the weather today is forecast to reach 35 degrees Celsius, with a humidity level of 14 percent. Therefore, please continue to maintain your health," the ministry's Head of the Public Relations Bureau, Akhmad Fauzin, stated during a virtual press conference on the 1446 Hijri Hajj pilgrimage here on Monday.

Fauzin further advised the public to drink plenty of water, wear head protection, and choose comfortable clothing.
