Jakarta, May 3 -- The Ministry of Religious Affairs is appealing to Indonesian Hajj pilgrims to monitor weather conditions to prevent dehydration while participating in the pilgrimage.
"Please pay attention to the weather. On Saturday, May 3, the temperature in Medina reaches 36 degrees Celsius during the day, with around 14 percent humidity," Secretary of the ministry's Hajj and Umrah Implementation Directorate, Arfi Hakim, stated.
He delivered this message at an online press conference on the implementation of the 2025 Hajj in Jakarta on Saturday.
He appealed to Hajj pilgrims to maintain their health by getting sufficient rest, consuming nutritious food, and avoiding strenuous physical activity, especially under the hot sun.
