Jakarta, June 12 -- Chairman of the National Economic Council (DEN) Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan announced that the government will utilize a digital platform called GovTech to distribute social assistance by the end of 2025.

"Hopefully, we can launch this system by the end of the year through the social assistance program," he remarked at the 2025 International Conference on Infrastructure (ICI) on Thursday.

Pandjaitan described this initiative as part of the government's efforts to maintain fiscal discipline through efficient spending while increasing productive revenue.

He noted that digitalizing government services is expected to support more disciplined fiscal performance.
