Bengkulu, Dec. 11 -- Deputy Manpower Minister Afriansyah Noor says the government is waiting for the right moment to announce the provincial minimum wage (UMP).
"The minimum wage - through the Manpower Ministry - will be announced when the timing is right, so that economic stability and political stability can be maintained in line with what the government will decide," Afriansyah said in Bengkulu on Thursday.
He added that the National Wage Council and the tripartite body have been holding continuous meetings, even since March 2025.
