Jakarta, May 23 -- The Ministry of Finance will increase the budget allocation for the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) Program if the targeted number of beneficiaries is reached.

Deputy Finance Minister Suahasil Nazara said in Jakarta on Friday that the ministry has prepared additional funding for the MBG Program, but its disbursement will depend on the progress of the program's implementation.

"In the state budget (APBN), we are ready to allocate additional funding, as previously mentioned, amounting to 100 trillion rupiahs, if the program reaches 82.9 million beneficiaries during the fourth quarter of 2025," he informed during the May 2025 edition of the APBN KiTa press conference.
