Jakarta, Dec. 9 -- Housing Minister Maruarar Sirait revealed that the construction of 2,000 homes for Sumatra disaster survivors in Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra will be funded through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
"We have received commitments from several CSR partners to help build 2,000 houses for our brothers and sisters affected in Sumatra," said Maruarar, also known as Ara, in Jakarta on Tuesday.
He emphasized that the CSR support for the construction of 2,000 homes reflects the Indonesian spirit of gotong royong (collective solidarity).
"This is a form of collective solidarity. I have secured commitments for 2,000 houses to be provided for our brothers and sisters affected by the disaster in Sumatra," said Ara....
