Jakarta, Jan. 27 -- The government will provide more than 100,000 internship placements under its National Internship Program in 2026, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya said on Tuesday.

"The government will reopen opportunities for fresh university graduates in mid-2026 with a minimum capacity of 100,000 internship participants," Wijaya said in an official statement from the Ministry of Manpower.

Wijaya noted that the National Internship Program provides significant benefits for participants, ranging from practical experience to job-related skills that serve as valuable preparation after graduation.
