Jakarta, Dec. 23 -- The Indonesian government is sending an average of 100 tons of logistical aid daily from Jakarta for flood-affected residents in three Sumatra provinces: Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra.

Head of the Center for Disaster Data, Information, and Communication at the National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB), Abdul Muhari, highlighted in Jakarta on Tuesday that essential supplies are being sent out daily.

"The total logistics received at the Sumatra Flood Command Post at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in Jakarta has reached 1,326 tons," he stated via the Indonesian Government Communication Agency.
