Jakarta, Nov. 5 -- More than 50.5 million Indonesians have taken part in the government's Free Health Checkup (CKG) program, but about 98.8 percent of adult participants were found to lack physical activity, the Health Ministry said on Wednesday.

"A coverage of more than 50.5 million people is a major milestone in our national health efforts. However, the data serve as a serious warning that physical activity and healthy lifestyles must become everyone's top priority," Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin said.

Of the total participants, 34.3 million came from the public segment and 16.2 million from the school-based program, according to ministry data through the end of October 2025.
